If you've decided on a plug-in vaporizer for use at home, there are two basic categories with which to choose from:

  • Bag-fill system Vaporizers
  • Direct vaporization Vaporizers

Many vaporizers are fan-driven, which heat the material with hot air, using a pump or fan to extract the vapor. It is then released into a bag or handkit (also known as a whip), from which the user can inhale the vapor.

All bag-fill systems are fan-driven. This requires no effort as the fan regulates the flow of vapor as well as the temperature. Basically, the machine does all the work. These units work very well, but they are higher in price.

The other delivery system is direct vaporization, which uses no fan or bag. Using your lungs takes more effort to draw from the handkit, but the vapor is pure and more concentrated than a bag-fill system since the vapor is going directly into your lungs rather than collecting in a bag and becoming diluted with oxygen before you inhale it. You will enjoy a more robust, potent and pure vapor with no leakage from a bag. Direct vaporization is a durable, practical and economical option.
